About Me

I’m Abigail Shamelashvili, a UX researcher, with a background in psychology, focused on understanding how people think, feel, and make decisions when interacting with digital systems. My work centers on translating real user behavior into experiences that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely useful.

My perspective is shaped by working with individuals across a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. These experiences have shown me that edge cases aren’t truly “edge," instead, often reveal where systems break down. I use this lens to identify gaps in user experience and uncover opportunities to design more inclusive and effective solutions.

I approach research with a focus on clarity, usability, and real-world context. I pay close attention to moments of friction and misalignment, and I think critically about how different users may experience the same system in different ways. I’m especially interested in how thoughtful, human-centered design can improve outcomes at scale.
